Tuition Policy
Youth Theater Collective is committed to transparency and fairness in tuition practices while maintaining the operational integrity that ensures a high-quality, holistic program for all students.
Tuition Overview
Tuition rates vary by cohort and program and are published on our website and enrollment materials. Tuition includes all regular rehearsals, coaching, basic materials, and production participation unless otherwise specified. Additional fees may apply for ArcStormers, Winter Workshops, or optional events.
Refund Policy
All deposits required to hold a student’s place are non-refundable.
Tuition payments (less any deposit) are refundable only if a student withdraws prior to the start of week 2 of the session.
No refunds will be issued after the start of week 2, regardless of student attendance or participation.
Payment Deadlines
Full payment is due no later than the end of week 4 of the session unless a payment plan is arranged.
Payment plans must be arranged prior to the first rehearsal.
Families choosing a payment plan must complete all installments by the end of week 8.
Students with unpaid balances after week 8 may not be permitted to continue participating in rehearsals or performances until accounts are brought current.
Discount Policy
Youth Theater Collective offers the following discounts to support families:
Multi-Session/Sibling Discount: 10% off tuition for additional siblings or for students enrolled in multiple concurrent sessions.
Pay-in-Full Discount: 5% off for families who pay full tuition before the first rehearsal.
Referral Credit: $50 tuition credit for every new family referred who enrolls and completes tuition payment.
Discounts may not be combined unless explicitly noted and may not be applied retroactively.
Referral Credit Terms
A “new family” is defined as a family with no prior enrollment at Youth Theater Collective.
The referred family must list the referring family at the time of registration for eligibility.
Referral credits:
Are applied after the referred student’s registration and tuition payment is complete
May be stacked if multiple referrals are made
Are non-transferable, non-refundable, and may only be applied toward tuition for future sessions (not workshops, merchandise, or other fees)
Youth Theater Collective reserves the right to modify or discontinue the referral program at any time.
Need-Based Financial Assistance
Youth Theater Collective is committed to access and inclusion. Families may inquire about financial aid during the enrollment process. Aid is offered on a case-by-case basis and subject to available funding.

Tuition Assistance & Exchange Request
At Youth Theater Collective, we are committed to making theater education accessible to all families, regardless of financial situation. We offer a limited number of need-based scholarships, as well as opportunities for students and parents to participate in work-exchange roles to reduce tuition.
Please complete this form to help us understand your family’s needs and your interest in these programs. All responses are kept confidential.
The Shine Team (Student Work-Exchange)
Some students may be eligible for partial tuition assistance through The Shine Team, a student-led work exchange program that helps care for our rehearsal and studio spaces. Shine Team members take on light responsibilities such as tidying props, wiping down mirrors, and resetting the room between sessions. It’s a small but meaningful way students can give back while reducing their tuition costs — and it reflects our shared values of care, responsibility, and collective pride.
Parent Volunteer Exchange
Families are also invited to support their student’s tuition by volunteering in key areas of production or studio operations. Opportunities include help with costumes, stagecraft, front-of-house roles, rehearsal support, and parent team coordination. Volunteering can lead to partial tuition reduction and helps sustain the creative, community-driven heart of Youth Theater Collective.
Not every family can afford a full tuition — but every student deserves a spotlight. Your donation helps fund scholarships, provide materials, and ensure that no young artist is turned away due to financial barriers.
Want to make a difference in a young artist’s life? Your contribution directly supports tuition assistance and creative opportunities for students who need it most.
