Tuition Assistance & Exchange Request

At Youth Theater Collective, we are committed to making theater education accessible to all families, regardless of financial situation. We offer a limited number of need-based scholarships, as well as opportunities for students and parents to participate in work-exchange roles to reduce tuition.

Please complete this form to help us understand your family’s needs and your interest in these programs. All responses are kept confidential.

The Shine Team (Student Work-Exchange)

Some students may be eligible for partial tuition assistance through The Shine Team, a student-led work exchange program that helps care for our rehearsal and studio spaces. Shine Team members take on light responsibilities such as tidying props, wiping down mirrors, and resetting the room between sessions. It’s a small but meaningful way students can give back while reducing their tuition costs — and it reflects our shared values of care, responsibility, and collective pride.

Parent Volunteer Exchange

Families are also invited to support their student’s tuition by volunteering in key areas of production or studio operations. Opportunities include help with costumes, stagecraft, front-of-house roles, rehearsal support, and parent team coordination. Volunteering can lead to partial tuition reduction and helps sustain the creative, community-driven heart of Youth Theater Collective.

Not every family can afford a full tuition — but every student deserves a spotlight. Your donation helps fund scholarships, provide materials, and ensure that no young artist is turned away due to financial barriers.
