Welcome to

Youth theater collective

a performance studio for young artists K-12

At Youth Theater Collective (YTC), we believe theater is more than performance — it’s a space for growth, creativity, and authentic connection.

Our programs help young artists build confidence, character, and craft, no matter their experience level. Whether stepping onto the stage for the first time or sharpening your skills, you’ll find a place to belong, be challenged, and shine.

Let’s create something unforgettable together.

Cohorts + Seasonal Program Cycle

At Youth Theater Collective, we offer three distinct cohorts so every young artist finds their place:

Company, Apprentices, and Players

Our year is organized into seasonal sessions

Fall, Winter, and Spring:

10-week cycles, each culminating in a full production.

Winter Break Workshop Series

A suite of short, focused workshops held between Fall and Winter sessions — perfect for skill-building and creative experimentation.

Summer

Production, intensives and masterclasses designed for focused growth and artistic exploration.

Theater is where every voice belongs

OUr Mission

At Youth Theater Collective, we build more than performers. We build confident, creative, and resilient young people through theater, community, and care. Every student — from first-time actors to seasoned performers — finds challenge, support, and celebration here.

Our Values

Belonging : Every voice matters, every story is worth telling.

Excellence with Empathy: High artistic standards rooted in care and respect.

Whole-Person Growth: Creativity, emotional wellness, and physical health go hand in hand.

What Makes YTC Different

YTC integrates the performing arts with social-emotional learning, trauma-informed practices, and somatic awareness. Students don’t just rehearse lines — they build confidence, empathy, and life skills that last long after the curtain falls.

Discover the program. Join the community. Take your place on stage.

Confidence. Creativity. Community — in their words.

  • “Mr. Rose is more than just a teacher. He is a mentor, a guide, and someone who truly listens… I played Barbara in Beetlejuice and had the time of my life. The experience changed me.”

    — Nina V., 7th Grade Student

  • “My daughter has never come home so energized and proud. The show was phenomenal—not just for a middle school production, but as a piece of art.”
