PERFORMER / PARENT AGREEMENT
Youth Theater Collective
This agreement outlines shared expectations for students (“performers”) and parents or guardians participating in Youth Theater Collective (YTC). Participation indicates understanding of and agreement with the terms below.

Youth Theater Collective is a year-long, project-based program with public performances. Participation requires consistent engagement, preparation, and follow-through.

Student Leadership Model
YTC operates under a student-led model.

Leadership is earned through reliability, collaboration, and accountability.
Not all roles are performance-based; technical, production, and front-of-house roles are equally valued.
Adult Authority & Safety
While students lead creatively and collaboratively, all physical safety, tools, equipment, facilities, and final authority remain under adult supervision at all times.
Adults retain final decision-making authority regarding:
Safety procedures
Use of equipment and facilities
Ethical boundaries
Scheduling and operational needs
Public Performances & Media
YTC produces ticketed public performances.
Parents/guardians grant permission for:
Participation in public performances
Use of photos or video for documentation and program-related promotion
No student names or identifying information will be used beyond standard program materials.
Agreement
By participating in Youth Theater Collective, performers and parents/guardians acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to this agreement.
